Former UBF Champion Umut Camkiran Targets WBC Silver Title Against Mourad Aliev

ISTANBUL, TÜRKİYE — Umut Camkiran will pursue another championship milestone when he meets Mourad Aliev for the vacant WBC Silver heavyweight title on November 7, 2026, at Ülker Arena in Istanbul, according to event information supplied to the UBF newsroom.

For Camkiran, the contest represents an opportunity to add another belt to a career that includes a championship victory under the Universal Boxing Federation banner. UBF identifies him as a former European Heavyweight Champion, having captured the title with a first-round knockout of Alexander Kahl.

That decisive victory remains part of Camkiran’s connection to the organization as he prepares for a new challenge in front of an Istanbul crowd. Aliev now stands between him and the vacant WBC Silver championship.

Heavyweight boxing can turn on a single exchange. Camkiran’s early finish against Kahl demonstrated his ability to end a contest quickly, but each opponent presents a different examination. Timing, distance and the ability to create openings will be central to his pursuit of another title.

The occasion gives Turkish boxing supporters an opportunity to watch Camkiran compete for an international championship on home soil. A victory would add the WBC Silver belt to his résumé and provide a platform for further opportunities in the heavyweight division.

For the Universal Boxing Federation, the bout is another chapter in the career of a former champion. Camkiran’s European title victory remains part of UBF history as he looks toward his next achievement.

On November 7 in Istanbul, that pursuit brings him face to face with Mourad Aliev—with the vacant WBC Silver heavyweight title at stake.
